Tawny Sportsman is the Director of Take Heart Ministry, a Speaker for the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, a member of the Oregon Prayer Conference Team and an Associate Chaplain. She moved to Oregon from Alaska, where she spent most of her life and travels nationally and internationally as a speaker and the Director of Take Heart. As a speaker for the Oregon Conference, Tawny speaks in a different church nearly every Sabbath. She does Worship Services, Workshops, Seminars, Retreats and designs programs to meet your needs. Take Heart Ministry began three years ago when Tawny lost her husband of 35 years. Take Heart reaches out to those taking the unexpected journey called grief, letting them know they don’t have to travel alone. She designs programs and events for hurting hearts and she and her team provide tools, resources, support and encouragement as they pull alongside those who are grieving. Tawny has a perfect daughter, a perfect son-in- law and three perfect AND darling grandchildren. She resides in Sweet Home, OR and in her spare time she loves to deer hunt with her camera.
